The Winter Warmer 2025 - My Father The Judge & Aberfeldy Whisky - Thursday 20th February 6:30pm

Winter might be coming to an end in London, but after the freezing cold temperatures at the start of the year we feel a winter warmer is truly deserved. So, we’re bringing together a powerful pairing of My Father The Judge and Aberfeldy Highland Single Malt Whisky.

Recommended by our wonderful St James’s store manager Tazminah, after her trip with Tor Imports to Nicaragua, we’re finally bringing it to the shop, and we are delighted to share this experience with our guests. The Grand Robusto was recently voted Cigar Aficionado’s Cigar of the Year 2024 so Taz isn’t the only one in the know. The Judge is a bold full-bodied cigar blend combining three different fillers, all grown on the Garcia’s farms across Nicaragua. There are two binders in this cigar, using Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo tobacco, as the cigar is completed with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. Our friends at Tor Imports will be joining us as Alfonso Scherzi leads the talk about the cigar, the legacy of My Father cigars and their patriarch Don Pepin.

We are delighted to partner again with Bacardi Malts at for a cigar sampling evening as we pair The Judge with Aberfeldy. We will be joined by the Bacardi UK Whisky Brand Ambassador India Blanch. Located in the highland region less than an hour away from Perth, Aberfeldy has one of the world’s best Master Blenders at the helm, Stephanie Macleod. So we’re excited to pair another whisky under the Bacardi umbrella after the impressive Royal Brackla and Craigellachie.

We’re looking forward to this pairing, but we do recommend a good hearty lunch or dinner ahead of joining us as this pairing is certainly one for the evening. Join us for a great evening of cigars and whisky on St James’s.
