A modern day classic. Launched in 2010, the Romeo Y Julieta Wide Churchill sets the standard for heavy gauged, medium bodied smokes across the board. Delightfully toasty despite it’s thickness, with a subtle dry tannin and mineral to begin with, the cigar’s intensely leathery note remains present throughout. Some pepper and some spice gradually come to the surface heading into the last two or so inches of the cigar, but the huge ring gauge keeps it suitably cooled. A big, smooth smoke that is both accessible and complex.
