Trinidad, it would be fair to say, is a Habanos brand loved by most. If it is not their No.1 brand, it is highly likely to be in their “Top 3”. Consistency is the key for Trinidad; blends, vitolas, timing of releases, discontinuations, it has all added to the allure of one of Habanos’s most famed brands.

Despite not having the biggest portfolio of regular production cigars – although Habanos increased their cigar Vitolas during 2018/2019 from 4 to 7 – Trinidad has been integral to the collection of Habanos. It is one of two marque brands along with Cohiba, as the demand for the cigars for both has outgrown the exponential rate of supply.

We could give a few examples of an aficionado’s conversation regarding Trinidad:

The status of Robusto Extra, is it discontinued or not?

How good the wide ring gauge Trinidad cigars have been in 2024 - answer is exceptional!

Fundadores - is it really amongst the best Habanos on the market? Then smoking one and concluding that it is and we miss it…

Is the Reyes the best small cigar?

Should they have made the Topes a regular line or not?

Why is it the only brand we regularly talk about mouth feel, and more importantly why does the smoke feel like that in the mouth?

All these questions regarding Trinidad go on in cigar lounges, clubs and shops across the world amongst aficionados proving why Trinidad is one of the most popular and successful brands of cigars in the world. For Trinidad 55 being showcased for Habanos World Days in London, virtually every cigar enthusiast has shown some kind of interest.

Along with 54 other retailers across the UK including La Casa del Habano James J Fox, we spent the evening of Friday 21st June celebrating the Trinidad brand for Habanos World Days.

Our shared passion for the finest handmade cigars in the world had seen us unite in London and across the UK. We were delighted to have shared this momentous occasion with our guests. We have enjoyed seeing the Habanos cigar community throughout the week, catching up with old friends and making acquaintance with new ones. London has always been a home away from Havana for Cuban cigars, so we were delighted to have Habanos S.A. arrive in London for this cigar extravaganza.

We would like to thank Sean Croley, Sales and Marketing Director for Hunters & Frankau and Jose Maria Lopez, Development Co-Vice President for Habanos S.A for joining us and giving a speech to guests on the evening. On such a landmark night we were honoured to have had two important industry gentlemen at our event. Thank you to the Chairman of Fox International, Stuart Fox, and CEO of James J Fox, Rob Fox for coming into London to celebrate with us. It was also a pleasure to have Arnaud Dean, Sales Director for Europe and Africa for Tesseron and Yann Lucas of Berkmann Wine Cellar join us to talk about the cognac on the evening. And of course, to the cigar enthusiasts on the evening, we thank you for joining us to make it an incredibly special night.

Since the event, we’ve received the Trinidad Cabildos (Edicion Limitada 2024) and it has been a great success on all fronts. The quality of the cigar, the customers enthusiasm towards to the cigar, the packaging, the entire occasion of Habanos World Days in London – everything couldn’t have been better executed to deliver the new Limited Edition for Habanos.
